911 offers cost savings to St. Robert

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (March 8, 2019) — Ongoing litigation with the City of Saint Robert, Missouri sent the Pulaski Couny 911 Board into closed session Friday morning, but didn't prevent members from explaining the terms of a proposal 911 will offer to the city to reduce the city's costs.

After returning from closed session, 911 Board member Doug Yurecko, who is also the Waynesville Fire Chief, moved to amend the St. Robert contract to bill the city for actual costs rather than projected costs, and his motion was adopted unanimously. Following adjournment, 911 Director Michelle Graves explained that the St. Robert contract is for Spillman services. St. Robert police won't be using some parts of the Spillman electronic records system, resulting in a bill reduction from $4,340 to $2,365.30.

Board members also voted to move the next meeting from Friday, April 12, to Wednesday, April 10.
