Circuit Court Reports for March 1, 2019

Officials with the Pulaski County Circuit Court have reported the following actions in recent cases:

Marvin Murray, 51, of Dixon, was arraigned on March 1 before Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long on a Class A felony charge of first-degree domestic assault accusing him of causing serious physical injury to a person with whom he had been in a continuing relationship by unknown means including striking, biting and kicking on Feb. 22. Judge Long scheduled a March 5 advice of counsel hearing, ordered him to personally appear, and determined no bond would be allowed for his release.

Evelyn Burdick, 36, of Kimberling City, was arraigned on March 1 before Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long on a Class E felony charges of criminal nonsupport accusing her failing to provide adequate support for her son during twelve separate months including Sept. 20 with an arrearage of $10,688. Judge Long scheduled a March 5 advice of counsel hearing, ordered her to personally appear, and set her bond at $5,000. 

Leon Bowman, 52, of Dixon, was arraigned on March 1 before Associate Circuit Judge Colin Long on a Class E felony charge of first-degree felony harassment accusing him of repeatedly contacting a woman in person, by text and by social media, causing her emotional distress, on Feb. 17. Judge Long scheduled a March 5 advice of counsel hearing, ordered him to personally appear, and determined no bond would be allowed for his release.
