Janis Page Chaffee (8/1/1969-3/2/2019), 49, of Waynesville

(March 6, 2019) — Janis Page Chaffee, 49, of Waynesville, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 in the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, March 11, in the First Christian Church of Waynesville. Burial with military honors will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville. Arrangements are under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service in the First Christian Church of Waynesville.

Ms. Chaffee is survived by mother and stepfather: Virginia and Ron Seymore of Waynesville; three children, Justin Chaffee and Ambrosia Ferree, both of Waynesville, and Alexander Martin  and his wife Victoria of Kansas City; three grandchildren: Emma, Xena and Jinora; three brothers: Mark Chaffee of Waynesville, David Chaffee of Lee’s Summit, and Jake Seymore of Waynesville; two sisters, Victoria (Seymore) Nelson of Waynesville and Mary Seymore of Waynesville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Janis Chaffee and may be left at the funeral home.
