SAINT ROBERT, Mo. (Oct. 24, 2015) — State troopers arrested a Waynesville man on charges including drunk driving and leaving the scene of a crash following an early Saturday morning rollover wreck on Highway Y north of St. Robert.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Brian D. Lambe, 29, was driving northbound in a 1999 Jeep Cherokee when he ran his vehicle off the left side of the roadway near Lemming Lane at 1:15 a.m., overturning and striking a mailbox. Lambe suffered only minor injuries but his vehicle was totaled.

Troopers located him and arrested him at 2:40 a.m., transporting him to the Pulaski County Jail and later releasing him on charges of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash, and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash. Lambe, who had been wearing his seatbelt, was treated and released without ambulance transport.
